Tender Postpartum: A Free EFT Gathering to Support You Through the Feelings of Early Motherhood
Come as you are — overwhelmed, tender, tired — and leave a little lighter.
Free online session • Wednesday 11 March • 10:00am AEDT
WHAT THIS GATHERING IS
Motherhood in the early days can feel tender, overwhelming, emotional, and unlike anything you expected. This free EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) gathering is a soft, supportive space for postpartum mothers to slow down, breathe, and gently tend to the emotional load of early motherhood.
No experience with EFT is needed — I’ll guide you step by step.
This is for you if you’re navigating:
• emotional overwhelm
• identity shifts
• tears you can’t quite explain
• feeling touched‑out or overstimulated
• anxious thoughts
• the invisible load of newborn life
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
WHAT WE’LL DO TOGETHER
In this nurturing 60‑minute session, you’ll experience:
• A simple, easy to understand introduction to EFT
• A guided tapping sequence to soothe stress and emotional overload
• Space to gently reconnect with yourself
• A soft moment of calm you can return to anytime
A replay will be sent to all who register.
WHY EFT HELPS POSTPARTUM MOTHERS
EFT combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with supportive language to help regulate your nervous system.
For postpartum mothers, it can:
• ease moments of stress and overwhelm
• soften emotional intensity
• soothe anxious or spiralling thoughts
• bring grounding during heavy days
• help you feel more like you again
It’s simple, gentle, and deeply supportive during the early weeks and months.

Before you Join
This gathering is designed with real motherhood in mind. You’re welcome to come exactly as you are — tired, emotional, feeding, rocking, or cuddling your baby. Tears, nappy changes, and interruptions are all completely normal here.
To help create a calm experience for everyone:
Please keep your microphone off during the session
This reduces background noise and supports the recording, which will be shared with everyone who registers.
Your camera can be on or off
Choose whatever feels most comfortable. Many mums keep their cameras off so they can settle, feed, or move freely.
No need to talk or share
There is absolutely no pressure to speak. If you’d like to interact, you can gently type in the chat.
Feel free to move, pause, or tend to your baby
Feeding, rocking, and soothing are all welcome. EFT can be done one-handed.
No preparation needed
A cosy space and a glass of water are more than enough.
FAQs
Do I need any experience with EFT?
1
Not at all. This gathering is created for complete beginners. I’ll guide you through everything.
2
What if my baby cries, needs to be soothed or fed?
It’s completely okay. Bring your real postpartum self — your baby’s needs fit naturally into this space. You can totally do EFT one handed too.
No. You’re welcome to simply listen and tap along. Chat participation is optional.
3
Will I have to talk or share?
What if I feel emotional during the session?
4
Tender feelings are so normal. This motherhood gig can be tough. This space is created to support whatever arises. EFT works best when we feel these emotions and work through them during the tapping sequence.
A replay will be sent to all who register so you can watch in your own time.
5
What if I can’t join live?
Will this help me understand what EFT is?
6
Yes — you’ll learn the basics and experience a full guided sequence.
Just yourself. Comfort is the priority.
7
Do I need anything prepared?
No — this gathering is not therapy or a replacement for mental health care. It’s a gentle support session using EFT (tapping) to help soothe emotional overwhelm in early motherhood.
If you’re currently receiving therapeutic support or need deeper mental health care, please continue with your existing provider or reach out to someone you trust.
You’re so welcome here alongside whatever other supports you have.
8
Is this therapy?
You deserve a space that holds you, not just your baby.
If you’re feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or tender — or you simply need a moment just for yourself — I’d love to welcome you into this gathering.
